Abstract

A multi-story building () is described for manufactured homes () such as container homes. The building () includes a ground floor (), a number of intermediate floors (), and a top floor (). The building () includes a throughway () on the ground floor () that allows passage of a transportation vehicle () such as a flatbed truck carrying a manufactured home (). The transportation vehicle () can use the throughway () to position the manufactured home () in alignment with a hoistway (). A hoist mounted on the roof () can then be used to hoist the home () to a desired floor (or).
