Abstract

A device () is provided to aid in needle insertion of an injector, such as a safety pen needle (). The device () includes a housing () having a mounting surface () configured to contact a skin surface (), and a hole () configured to receive the injector (), wherein the hole () is configured allow the injector () to bottom out on the hole () to aid in the needle insertion. An LED () may also be provided to illuminate the housing () for use in low light conditions.
