Abstract
A method for selecting video and audio in a video conference system for a conference room using at least two or more smartphone cameras each having at least one camera adapted to generate and transmit a video stream with its respective video-associated metadata (VAM) to at least one conference room transceiver. Additional embodiments include generating audio data by at least two or more microphones located within the conference room that are not communicatively coupled to any of the smartphones.
