[PROBLEM] To suppress the formation of an external electrode extending to an unintended part. [MEANS FOR RESOLUTION] A coil componentcomprises: a magnetic substrateincluding metal magnetic particles structured from a soft magnetic alloy that has iron as the main component; a coil conductorprovided on the magnetic substrate; a glass film, provided on a surface of the magnetic substrate, made from a low-temperature sintered glass including a filler of titanium oxide, zirconium oxide, and/or tungsten oxide; and an external electrode, provided in contact with the glass film, connected electrically to the coil conductor
