Abstract

A method, system and non-transitory computer readable storage medium for managing engagement and presentation of electronic documents is described herein. In an implementation, the method comprises receiving a registration request, with a nickname for a child and without personally identifying information for the child, from a parent account to set up a nicknamed child account; enabling resource access via the nicknamed child account on a device; receiving an e-book request from the parent account to assign one or more e-books to the nicknamed child account; assigning the one or more e-books to the device based on the nicknamed child account and authorizing the device to display content of the one or more e-books to the child; and receiving and tracking activity data for the child and the assigned one or more e-books.
