Abstract
The invention relates to a cartridge () for inserting into a beverage-preparing machine, comprising a cartridge body () and a cartridge cover () connected to the cartridge body (), wherein: the cartridge body () has a plurality of chambers () filled with beverage substance; the cartridge cover () has a cartridge-emptying unit (), a mixing chamber (), and a fluid feed () leading into the mixing chamber (); the cartridge-emptying unit () is provided for transferring beverage substance from one of the chambers () into the mixing chamber (); and the mixing chamber () is provided for producing a beverage by mixing the beverage substance transferred from the one chamber () into the mixing chamber () with a liquid fed into the mixing chamber () by means of the fluid feed (); the cartridge being characterized in that the cartridge body () and the cartridge cover () can be rotated relative to each other about a longitudinal axis (L) of the cartridge body ().
