Abstract

A wound dressing () includes a backing layer and a wound-site adhesive layer for adhering the backing layer to the wound. The backing layer has a shape including three lobesin which each lobe is defined as an area enclosed by a pair of curved peripheral edges″ which meet at an apex located therebetween'″. Each lobe is separated from an adjacent lobe by a radial minima. The three lobes include a major lobeand two minor lobes. The major lobe has a length which is greater than each of the two minor lobes.
