Abstract

A tubular element for an aerosol-generating device, the tubular element including: a first longitudinal passageway; and a porous medium loaded with gel, the gel including an active agent, the porous medium loaded with gel being crimped, the gel including an active agent includes an aerosol former, the gel including the active agent includes between 60 percent and 95 percent by weight of glycerol, the active agent includes nicotine, and the porous medium includes cotton. An aerosol-generating article including a tubular element, and a method of manufacturing a tubular element, are also provided.
