Abstract

The program protection device () includes an encoding unit () and an output unit (). An encoding unit () encodes a program to be protected according to a specific encoding algorithm, and stores information used for decoding the encoded program in a relocation table of the encoded program. The output unit () outputs the program encoded by the encoding unit () as a protected program.
