Abstract
The disclosure describes antimicrobial peptides exhibiting activity against a wide variety of plant pathogens are described. Functional peptides consisting of the amino acid sequence: MKVMIVVKTKVKNKKVAKMMVK (SEQ ID NO: 1) or an amino acid sequence having an identity of 85% or more to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, or consisting of a partial peptide thereof are described.
