Abstract
A wireless communication system includes a base station group constituted of four or more base stations. One base stationA measures a reception clock time Tof a signal transmitted by itself and a reception clock time Tof a signal received from another base stationB, and the other base stationB measures a reception clock time Tof a signal transmitted by itself and a reception clock time Tof a signal received from the one base stationA. Based on the reception clock time Tand the reception clock time Tand the reception clock time Tand the reception clock time T, a propagation time between the base stationsis obtained, and distances between all the base stationsare obtained by multiplying each of the propagation times similarly obtained between all the base stationsby a propagation velocity of the signals.
