Abstract
An approach for detecting LIDAR blind spots in parking garages. This approach may comprise receiving floor layout data of a parking garage and, based on the received floor layout data, determining at least one additional floor layout data for a floor of a parking garage. The determined floor layout data may include LIDAR blind spot data based on clusters of similarly laid out floors.
