Abstract

The invention relates to a disk brake system for a vehicle, with single-sided pressure application, comprising a brake disk () comprising a hub portion () and a friction ring (), a friction surface () of the friction ring () extending between an inner circumferential edge () and an outer circumferential edge () of the friction ring (), a housing () with at least one piston (″) for actuating a first brake pad (), the first brake pad () being configured to be pressed against the friction surface () of the friction ring () for braking, the disk brake system being devoid of an opposing brake pad opposite to the first brake pad (). The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising at least one brake system of this type.
