Abstract

An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes an apparatus main body and an ultrasound probe that is used by switching between a wireless connection mode and a wired connection mode with respect to the apparatus main body, the apparatus main body having a main body-side first power supply circuit that generates a main body-side driving voltage and a main body-side second power supply circuit that generates a main body-side transmission voltage higher than the main body-side driving voltage, the ultrasound probe having a transducer array, a built-in battery, a prove-side first power supply circuit that generates a prove-side driving voltage using an output voltage of the built-in battery, a prove-side second power supply circuit that boosts the output voltage of the built-in battery to generate a prove-side transmission voltage higher than the prove-side driving voltage, and a probe side processor.
