Abstract
The aerial lift comprises a lifting mechanism for raising the working platform, which lifting mechanism is provided with a guardrail. A protection deviceprevents an operator from being crushed against the guardrailor against the control console. The protection devicecomprises a bar. The control consolecan be removably mounted on the protection devicenear the bar. The protection devicecomprises a sensor for detecting when the baris pressed by the operator, which causes the platform to stop moving.
