Passing control method and apparatus

Abstract

This disclosure provides methods and apparatuses for vehicle passing control on a toll road. In an implementation, a method performed by a roadside apparatus comprises: sending, to a vehicle at a first power, a payment inquiry message for requesting payment voucher information of the vehicle that has completed a payment of a toll for passing through a gate without actually passing through the gate, wherein the first power is less than a second power at which a payment interaction message is sent for collecting the toll from the vehicle, receive, from the vehicle, a payment response message corresponding to the payment inquiry message, wherein the payment response message comprises the payment voucher information, and generate, based on the payment response message, a passing control signal for controlling the gate to release the vehicle.
