Abstract
Disclosed is a method of splitting and reconnecting neural networks for adaptive continual learning in dynamic environments. A continual learning method of a neural network model includes a split phase for independently learning a split neural network model using an old task and a new task, and a bridge phase for reconnecting the independently learnt split neural network model and learning relation information between the old task and the new task.
