Abstract

A bladeset for a hair clipper has a stationary blade with a plurality of stationary blade teeth defined along a stationary blade lateral axis and includes first and second outermost stationary blade teeth. A stationary blade midpoint is defined between the first and second outermost stationary blade teeth. The bladeset also has a moving blade with a plurality of moving blade teeth defined along a moving blade lateral axis and includes first and second outermost moving blade teeth. A moving blade midpoint is defined between the first and second outermost moving blade teeth. Preferably, each of the stationary blade teeth and the moving blade teeth define a rake angle along at least one edge of each tooth, and the rake angles of at least one of the stationary blade teeth and the moving blade teeth change gradually from the corresponding blade midpoint to the corresponding outermost tooth.
