Abstract
An ultrasound diagnosis apparatus includes an ultrasound probe and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry generates functional volume data of a subject based on first information indicating position and angle of the ultrasound probe during a first scan and on first echo data supplied from the ultrasound probe by the first scan; sequentially generates a sectional image indicating morphology of the subject based on second echo data supplied from the ultrasound probe by the second scan that is performed after the first scan; sequentially generates a functional MPR image corresponding to the sectional image based on second information indicating position and angle of the ultrasound probe during the second scan and on the functional volume data; and sequentially displays the sectional image and the functional MPR image in parallel or in a superimposed manner on a display in response to generation of the sectional image and the functional MPR image.
