Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5-generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates beyond 4-generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). The present disclosure provides a method performed by a user equipment in a wireless communication system, and the user equipment. The method comprises: transmitting information indicating a high speed capability of the UE to a network-side entity; and receiving configuration information corresponding to the high speed capability of the UE from the network-side entity.
