Abstract
Proposed is a control method for a home appliance configured to detect a user's knock applied thereto that includes generating vibration detection signals corresponding to vibrations of three axial directions orthogonal to each other, and determining whether a vibration is generated by the user's knock by using a vibration detection signal of a first axial direction corresponding to a direction of the vibration generated by the user's knock.
