Abstract

An electric work vehicle includes a housing, a motor to drive to a wheel, the motor being supported by the housing, a gearing including a plurality of gears, and a locking assembly including a pawl. The motor is connected to the gearing to drive the wheel. The locking assembly is operable to lock an outermost gear of the plurality of gears in a left-right direction of the electric work vehicle. The outermost gear includes a first diameter portion and a second diameter portion that is larger than the first diameter portion. The first diameter portion is located outside of the second diameter portion in the left-right direction of the electric work vehicle. The pawl is operable to engage with the first diameter portion to lock the outermost gear from rotating.
