Abstract

A disposable absorbent article. The disposable absorbent article has a topsheet; a backsheet; and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The disposable absorbent article may include embossed central channels, a perimeter channel, and a pair of rear channels disposed on opposite sides of a longitudinal axis transversely inboard of the perimeter channel and longitudinally outboard of the outwardly convex longitudinal channels. The pair of rear channels may be generally candy cane-shaped.
