Abstract

Systems, methods, and apparatuses disclosed herein can operate on an unlicensed spectrum. These systems, methods, and apparatuses can perform a Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) to detect transmissions within the unlicensed spectrum. Thereafter, these systems, methods, and apparatuses can transmit, in response to the unlicensed spectrum being clear of transmissions, one or more first symbols within an uplink (UL) burst portion of a frame structure. The frame structure can include a downlink (DL) burst portion and the UL burst portion separated by gap. These systems, methods, and apparatuses can receive one or more second symbols within the DL burst portion.
