Abstract
A method for generating a domain topology for a system, the method that includes accessing a functional model database, identifying, in a computing resource database, a configuration of components matching a functional model in the functional model database, generating a domain for the configuration of components, in a domain topology, and generating a graphical hierarchy of the domain topology and providing it to a user.
