Abstract

It is aimed to provide a fuse element capable of interrupting an electrical circuit while suppressing the formation of carbide when an abnormal current is generated. A fuse elementis provided with an insulating base materialand a conductor layerprovided on a surface of the base material. The conductor layeris physically ruptured at a temperature lower than a temperature, at which the conductor layeris fused and cut, when the conductor layeris energized and generates heat.
