Abstract

A plurality of ready signals is received from a plurality of designated strength training devices. An initial synchronization signal is transmitted to the plurality of designated strength training devices such that the plurality of designated strength training devices begin a workout phase in a synchronized manner and then proceed with the workout phase asynchronously. A plurality of status signals is received indicating completion of the workout phase by at least some of the plurality of designated strength training devices. A resynchronization signal is transmitted to the plurality of designated strength training devices upon determining that the plurality of status signals exceeds a threshold such that the plurality of designated strength training devices begin a subsequent workout phase in a synchronized manner and then proceed with the subsequent workout phase asynchronously.
