Abstract

An electronic device comprises an audio interface, a communication module, a processor, and a memory operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory can store instructions configured so that, during the execution thereof, the processor: receives a request for connection to a second audio output device while connected to first audio output device through the audio interface and/or the communication module; identifies the types of the first audio output device and the second audio output device to automatically select one simultaneous output method suitable for the first audio output device and the second audio output device from among various simultaneous output methods, if the device types are the same as each other, and thus configures an output path corresponding to the selected simultaneous output method; and repeats the operation of reconfiguring the output path whenever a third audio output device is connected through the audio interface and/or the communication module.
