Abstract

An electronic device that includes a processing circuit that obtains, from a base station, configuration information used for beam failure recovery of a user equipment in multiple transmission/reception points (TRPs). Here, the configuration information includes a first configuration or a second configuration, the first configuration being used for determination of a beam failure event of each of the multiple TRPs, and the second configuration being used for joint determination of beam failure events of the multiple TRPs. The processing circuit of the electronic device reports the beam failure event to the base station on the basis of the configuration information.
