Abstract

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine a power mode of a base station based at least in part on a control resource set (e.g., CORESET0) configuration index received in a master information block from the base station and transmit communications to the base station with a transmit power that is based at least in part on the power mode of the base station.
