Abstract
An image processing apparatus includes a scan unit that scans an image of a document and generates image data, a reception unit that receives information for identifying a whiteboard of a whiteboard function provided by an information processing apparatus, a processor that determines position information for indicating a position on the identified whiteboard where the generated image data is to be inserted, and a transmission unit that transmits the generated image data, the received information for identifying the whiteboard, and the position information to the information processing apparatus.
