Abstract
A method for producing a carbon fiber material is disclosed, the method comprising the steps of Also disclosed is a carbon fiber material obtainable by the above process, as well as a carbon fiber material, characterized in that it has a proportion of ultramicropores Vof 0.01 to 10, more preferably 0.02 to 5, even more preferably 0.025 to 0.1, most preferably 0.03 to 0.06 cm/g, determined by COadsorption tests and evaluation with DFT and GC-MC simulation.
