Abstract
The present invention relates to the field of ink-jet printing technology. The present invention provides an ink-jet printer () for printing on cards comprising: a printer frame comprising a base frame (); a support carriage () mounted on the base frame () for supporting a card () to be printed; a printing station () mounted to the printer frame for ink-jet printing on the top surface of the card (), the printing station () comprising at least one print head (); and an ion generator () mounted to the printer frame for emitting charged ions which can be sent to the top surface of the card ().
