Abstract
A method for adaptively extrapolating an image extrapolates an image adaptively so that the image estimated by the extrapolation technique can express realistic content and maintain structural similarity with the given image. The method can ensure that the region between the extrapolated region and the original region maintains the same resolution, and it can ensure contextual consistency by preserving the features of the adjacent region and the distant region.
