Abstract

A heat exchanger tubing assembly for insertion into a channel in a conductive casing, so that thermal treatment applied to the conductive casing may be transferred through the heat exchanger tubing assembly to a liquid passing through the heat exchanger tubing assembly. The heat exchanger tubing assembly having two conductive segment having and elevated thermal conductivity value and being short enough to fit within the conductive casing. The conductive segments having barbed end portions and a flange that extends radially outward from the conductive segment. The flanges engage with flange receiving voids in the conductive casing to help position the heat exchanger tubing assembly within the conductive casing. The conductive casing having compression rings to press down on portions of flexible tubing that engages with the conductive segments to form enhanced barbed connections. The flexible tubing having lower thermal conductivity than the conductive segments.
