Abstract

Provided are a display device and a control method of a display device capable of improving image interpretation efficiency of the user for an ultrasound image. A display device () includes: one or a plurality of adjacent monitors () that form a single screen; a memory () that stores a plurality of display layouts each of which has a plurality of display regions for displaying a plurality of ultrasound images on the single screen; a schematic diagram selection unit () that selects, from among a plurality of schematic diagrams each of which divides a breast of a subject under examination into a plurality of regions, one schematic diagram based on a user's designation; a display layout setting unit () that sets, on the single screen, a plurality of display regions of a display layout corresponding to the selected schematic diagram; an imaging position reading unit () that reads imaging positions from the ultrasound images; and an image disposition unit () that disposes the ultrasound images in the set display regions based on the read imaging positions.
