Abstract

A system for adjusting a delay setting based on user input is configured to control playback of an audio segment () and control a light source to render a light effect (). The audio segment comprises a spoken description () of the light effect. The audio segment is played back at a playback moment (). The light effect is rendered at a rendering moment. A difference () between the playback moment and the rendering moment depends on a value of the delay setting. The delay setting causes the rendering of the light effect or the playback of the audio segment to be delayed. The system is further configured to receive the user input in response to the playback of the audio segment and the rendering of the light effect and adjust the delay setting based on the user input.
