Abstract

The present invention improves the success rate of wireless connection in communications between moving objects or roadside unit-to-moving object communications. A wireless communication device () includes a first radio () and a second radio (). The first radio () scans, at one of the front and rear of a moving object (), a first connection destination detecting signal for first moving object-to-moving object communication or first roadside unit-to-moving object communication. The second radio () transmits, toward the other of the front and rear of the moving object (), a second connection destination detecting signal for second moving object-to-moving object communication or second roadside unit-to-moving object communication.
