Provided is a male connector capable of easily engaging with a female connector. A male connectorincludes a hood portionwith a cylindrical shape that is fit into, from a projecting endA side, an engagement cylindrical portionformed as an opening of a female connector, wherein the hood portionis provided with the at least one guide projection portionprojecting forward beyond the projecting endA with an annular shape.
