Abstract
The disclosure relates to a 5generation (5G) or 6generation (6G) communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method performed by a user equipment and the user equipment are provided. The method performed by the user equipment includes receiving information related to scheduling without a grant or information related to Radio Resource Control (RRC) Connected state-Discontinuous Reception (C-DRX), and performing an operation related to scheduling without a grant or an operation related to C-DRX correspondingly, based on the received information.
