Abstract
A food processing appliance () has a muffle interior (M) surrounded by a muffle () and a light generating device () arranged outside the muffle () for radiating light (L) into the muffle interior (M) through a Opening () in the muffle (), wherein in the muffle interior (M) a light distribution element () for distributing light (L) that can be radiated through the opening (), is arranged and between the light generating device () and the light distribution element () there is a gap (S). The invention can be applied particularly advantageously to cooking appliances with an oven functionality and/or with a microwave functionality.
