Abstract

Catalyst systems comprising a metal-ligand complex according to formula (I): where: M is a metal chosen from zirconium or hafnium, the metal having a formal oxidation state of +2, +3, or +4; each X is a monodentate or bidentate ligand independently chosen from (C-C) hydrocarbyl, (C-C) aryl, (C-C) heteroaryl, or halogen; n is 2 or 3; R, R, R, R, and Rare independently chosen from (C-C) hydrocarbyl, (C-C) heterohydrocarbyl, —Si(R), —N(R), —OR, halogen, or hydrogen; optionally, Rand Rare covalently linked to form an aromatic ring; zand zare independently C(R) or N, wherein each Ris —II or (C-C) hydrocarbyl; provided that at least one of zand zis N; and each Rand Rin formula (I) is independently a (C-C) hydrocarbyl.
