Abstract
A roll-packing machine () is provided with a belt drive mechanism having a closed-loop belt (). Further, the roll-packing machine () is provided with a feed mechanism () configured to feed a mattress () to the belt (). The belt drive mechanism is configured to form an inner loop () of the belt, to receive the mattress () in the inner loop (), and to roll the mattress () by advancing the belt () while the mattress () is received in the inner loop (). The inner loop () of the belt may thus act as a rolling chamber for the mattress ().
