Abstract
The present invention is to achieve a HUD display that is easy for an occupant to see while reducing a sense of discomfort by limiting obstruction of actual scene visibility. A display control deviceincludes a control unitthat controls a visibility level and a display state of a display object, wherein, in a case of performing a low-visibility process for setting the visibility level of the display object to a second visibility level lower than a first visibility level, the control unit performs a display object recognizability improvement process that includes at least one of the following: increasing the number of display elementsforming the display object compared to the case in which the first visibility level is set; and expanding the size of some or all of the display elements forming the display object compared to the case in which the first visibility level is set.
