A cover member () that forms an end of a housing () of an oxygenator () has a recessed wall portion () recessed relative to a cover main body () further toward a side of a gas exchange unit () than an inner surface (). A pressure control hole () is formed through a main body () of the cover member (), and a sampling port () is disposed in the second recessed wall portion () to collect gas guided out from the gas exchange unit ().
