Abstract
A photodetector () having an exposure surface () has a first photodiode array () having a first light entry surface () and a second photodiode array () having a second light entry surface (). The first photodiode array () has an avalanche photodiode (). The second photodiode array () has a non-amplifying photodiode (). The first light entry surface () and the second light entry surface () form sub-surfaces of the exposure surface ().
