Abstract

A vehicle includes one or more areas, one or more water-drawing components within the one or more areas, a water supply system configured to provide water to the one or more water-drawing components, and a water leak detection system including one or more sensing devices, one or more shut-off valves, and a control unit in communication with the one or more sensing devices, the one or more shut-off valves, and the one or more water-drawing components. The control unit is configured to operate the one or more shut-off valves to stop a supply of water to the one or more water-drawing components in response to the one or more sensing devices detecting (a) a water leak within the one or more areas when the one or more water-drawing components are not in use, or (b) the water leak within the one or more areas when the water-drawing components are in use.
