Abstract
The rotary valve device includes a valve, a housing H having a joining surfacelocated at ends of a fitting holeand a through hole, a thermostatpartially accommodated in the through hole, a cylindrical seal member, an urging spring, and a passage member. The passage memberincludes a cylindrical holding memberthat is fitted into the fitting holeand holds the cylindrical seal memberand the urging spring, and a connector member. The connector memberincludes an annular fitting recessinto which a part of the cylindrical holding memberis fitted, and a detour passagethat is divided from the fitting recess by a wall portion to partially accommodate the thermostat and bypasses the cylindrical seal member to communicate with the through hole.
