Abstract

A suspension assembly for an electrified vehicle includes a first linkage rod coupled to a first bracket and a second linkage rod coupled to a second bracket. The electrified vehicle includes a chassis and an axle assembly. The chassis includes a first frame rail and a second frame rail laterally separated from the first frame rail. The axle assembly includes an axle housing arranged laterally between the first frame rail and the second frame rail. The first linkage rod is arranged at an angle relative to a central longitudinal axis so that as the first linkage rod extends from the axle housing toward the first bracket, the first linkage rod angles laterally outwardly and away from the central longitudinal axis. The second linkage rod is arranged at an angle relative to the central longitudinal axis so that as the second linkage rod extends from the axle housing toward the second bracket, the second linkage rod angles laterally outwardly and away from the central longitudinal axis.
