Abstract
The size of the ink droplet to be ejected to each pixel P defined by the image data Di (ejection data) is corrected. Specifically, the size (quantity) of the ink droplet that the nozzleejects to the target pixel Pt is corrected based on a comparison between the size of the ink droplet that is to be ejected from the nozzleto the preceding pixel Pa (first ejection condition) at timing T(first timing) and the size of the ink droplet that is to be ejected from the nozzleto the target pixel Pt at timing T(second timing) (second ejection condition) (Steps Sand S). Thus, based on the size of the ink droplet to the preceding pixel Pa and target pixel Pt indicated by the image data Di, it is possible to respond to the situation where the effect of residual vibration is judged to be significant.
